1. A car had tail lights stolen while parked on 6th Avenue.
2. Orchids were stolen from the front porch of a home on 14 Street.
If you see suspicious activity, do not hesitate to call 911.
There will be a neighborhood meeting at the Community Center on Tuesday, May 25th - 7:00 p.m. Community awareness is very important - hope to see you there.

ReplyDeleteI had 4 priceless bonsai and one brand new orchid stolen out of my backyard. I too live on 14 st near 4 ave. This madness has to stop. I had to relocate my whole collection of bonsai due to fear of them coming back. Police pretty much did not care. Although value of loss was $500 and sentimental.
ReplyDeleteWould love to find the person(s) who are stealing these plants. It has been going on for years and I hate having to hide the prettiest plants from thieves!
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I went to Synder Park yesterday to ride our bikes at 6:30pm. We park now our car in the front parking lot because I had parked within the park where the picknic area but my driver side window was smashed in March, 2010. So we are parking in the front to protect from that again. So yesterday, the park had a lot of cars in the front where the doggie park is. While there, 4 police aids where there because a back window of a SUV was smashed. The owner with his dog was standing there reporting the incident. Times are really bad, unemployment is the worst it has ever been, so be aware. Especially if you go to Snyder Park, NO VALUABLES in the car.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,
John
You should just ride to Snyder from your house.
ReplyDeleteI had another bonsai stolen from my yard. This is bullshit. I'm tired of this. I thought I came to a nice neighborhood. I know it's a neighbor and if I catch them I might go to jail.
